Five players from the country shared the record, with ten goals: Roberto Firmino (2017/18), Neymar (2014/15), Kaká (2006/07), Rivaldo and Jardel (both in the 1999/2000 season). With the exception of Firmino, all the others were top scorers in the Champions League in the edition in which they scored ten goals.
With the two goals on Tuesday, Raphinha surpassed Guinean Serhou Guirassy, from Borussia Dortmund, who was the top scorer in the current edition with ten goals until the start of the second leg of the round of 16. Borussia will play this Wednesday, against Lille.
