Mbappé denounces PSG for moral harassment and attempted extortion

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé has filed a complaint against his former club, and the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed the opening of an investigation.

French striker Kylian Mbappé, who plays for Real Madrid, has filed a lawsuit against his former club Paris Saint-Germain for moral harassment and attempted extortion of his contract.

On Thursday (26/6), the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Paris, France, confirmed the opening of an investigation. According to the French press, among other factors, Mbappé filed a complaint on May 16 of this year for having been isolated from the main group in the summer of 2023, when he expressed his desire not to renew his contract. The athlete interprets the decision as psychological pressure and moral harassment.

Meanwhile, the club believes that the striker forced his departure for free. This is not the first time that the athlete has taken legal action against the French club. He is also demanding R$330 million in unpaid salaries and bonuses. Precisely for this reason, the Paris judicial court blocked 55 million euros (around R$360 million) from PSG’s bank accounts.
