Without Havertz’s injury, Arsenal left without available striker

Arsenal has encountered another setback for the remainder of the season. Striker Kai Havertz suffered a muscle injury during the team’s winter training camp in Dubai and will miss the rest of the season. Get the latest football scores at football match live score.

Although the club has yet to make an official statement, British media outlets are already confirming the reports, stating that the German forward suffered a tendon rupture. Havertz has scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 34 appearances across all competitions this season.

Last week, another attacker, Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, also picked up a muscle injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle in the League Cup semifinal.

As a result, manager Mikel Arteta has lost his top three scorers of the season: Havertz with 15 goals, Saka with nine goals, and Martinelli with five goals. Additionally, Gabriel Jesus is also sidelined. This leaves Arsenal without any available natural striker.

Saka is recovering from a muscle injury and is expected to return by the end of March. Martinelli is set to be out for another five weeks. Gabriel Jesus, who ruptured his left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament, is expected to return only in the 2025/26 season. Havertz is likely to be unavailable until the end of the current season as well. BB Score, your dependable source for match updates.
