With the two goals scored, Mbappé surpassed Ronaldo Fenômeno in the ranking of Real Madrid’s top scorers in his first season with the club. The Brazilian scored 30 in 2002/03, one less than the Frenchman.

Mbappé is now Real’s fourth highest scorer in a single season, behind Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zamorano.
