“I deeply thank you for the way I was welcomed, respected, and for the bond we built during my journey, where I always felt like your representative on the field. Every time I heard the anthem sung by you at the stadium, I was moved,” he stated.
Danilo was one of Juventus’ key pillars during these five and a half years but began to lose prominence with the arrival of Thiago Motta. In a recent interview, the current coach mentioned that Danilo was no longer part of the team’s plans and was free to look for another club. In his final games, he wasn’t even included in the squad.
