Cazé TV signs deal with former Flamengo player: ‘I’m not a commentator yet’

‘Let’s go for it, challenges are ours to deal with. We’re in this life to accept challenges and overcome them. That’s the way it is’, he said

Cazé TV has announced the signing of right-back Rodinei, formerly of Flamengo and currently playing for Olympiacos in Greece. He will be the channel’s football commentator for the coverage of the Club World Cup, between June 14 and July 13 of this year. Rodinei is on vacation in Brazil and accepted the challenge of debuting in the role. Identified with the red-and-black club, he should participate in the broadcasts of Flamengo’s games in the competition. “When they made this invitation, it was really cool, because it also shows the affection they have for me, the respect. Of course, Casimiro is a great person, but I’m a football player, I’m not a commentator yet”, said the player, in an interview with Lance. “I have already explained this situation to them, but of course I am a player who understands football and the things that are going to happen, so it wasn’t very difficult to accept this invitation. Let’s go for it, challenges are ours to face. We are in this life to accept challenges and overcome them. That’s the way it is,” added Rodinei.

In addition to Flamengo, three other Brazilian teams have confirmed their participation in the competition: Palmeiras, Fluminense and Botafogo.
