Rony, Hulk, Natanael and Gustavo Scarpa scored Atlético’s goals in the 4-0 victory over Deportes Iquique in the South American Cup.
Atlético defeated Deportes Iquique 4-0 on Thursday (10/4) at Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte, in the second round of group H of the South American Cup.
The goals were scored by Rony, Hulk, Natanael and Gustavo Scarpa. Galo’s next match in the tournament will be on May 23 (a Wednesday), against Caracas.
The teams will face off at the UCV Olympic Stadium, in Caracas, Venezuela. Before this match, Atlético will have three duels in the Brasileirão: Vitória (13/4, home), Santos (16/4, away) and Botafogo (20/4, home).
Atlético secured a new award from Conmebol for beating Deportes Iquique-CHI. For the 2025 edition, Conmebol stipulated a reward of 115 thousand dollars for each victory in the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana. The amount corresponds to approximately R$676 thousand at the current exchange rate.
