Rashford made his professional debut with United in 2016 at just 18 years old and quickly earned the status of a star. His strong performances led to his inclusion in England’s Euro 2016 squad, marking the start of his international career.
A regular in the national team ever since, Rashford played in all major tournaments, including the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. His most significant disappointment came in 2021 when he missed a penalty in the Euro final against Italy, costing England the title.
His form deteriorated, and he was omitted from the squad for Euro 2024. With 17 goals in 60 appearances for England, he only scored twice in 2023 and played just once in 2024.
At Manchester United, his decline was also evident. After scoring 138 goals in 426 games, Rashford managed only 15 goals in the past 18 months, playing in 67 matches. His already poor performance worsened under Amorim, who publicly criticized his commitment.
