Isaac Tutumlu, who mediated the purchase of the defender, is demanding 3 million euros from Barça for an unpaid commission.

Barcelona is being sued by agent Isaac Tutumlu for failing to pay his commission related to the transfer of defender Jules Koundé, who was signed by the Catalan club in 2022. Tutumlu is seeking 3 million euros through legal action. Check out the best football results at live sport scores.
According to EFE news agency, Tutumlu attempted to reach an agreement with Barcelona to resolve the unpaid commission. The agent claims that Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta, was the one who introduced him into the negotiation for Koundé’s purchase.
The French player joined Barça in July 2022 from Sevilla for 50 million euros, with an additional 10 million euros in bonuses. At the time, Isaac Tutumlu is said to have played a key role in ensuring Koundé moved to Barcelona rather than Chelsea, who were also interested in the player.
Mateu Alemany, then Barcelona’s football director, reportedly removed Tutumlu from the negotiations when the clubs were close to reaching an agreement. The agent claims he was promised a 10% commission on the transfer but ultimately agreed to settle for 6%.
“I had several meetings with Mateu Alemany at the Ciutat Esportiva (Barcelona’s training center). I have emails, phone calls, and WhatsApp conversations with him, Monchi, Laporta, and even Xavi, which confirm that there was interest in the player and an agreement for me to do everything possible to bring him in. This is evidence I provided in the lawsuit,” the agent said.
