Grêmio won 3-1 away to Cuiabá at Arena Pantanal yesterday (October 10). The result moved the team away from the relegation zone, with goals from Braithwaite (2) and Gustavo Nunes for Grêmio, and an own goal from Braithwaite for Cuiabá.

However, Grêmio took the lead again in the 19th minute when Monsalve dribbled down the left wing and passed to Braithwaite, who scored his first goal of the night. The second goal from the Danish player and Grêmio’s third came in the 41st minute: Braithwaite took advantage of his own rebound and volleyed the ball into the net.
