FIFA held the draw for the 2025 Super Club World Cup on Thursday, the 5th. The tournament will take place in the United States in June and July of next year. The tournament will follow a World Cup-style format, with eight groups of four teams each, where every team faces the others once. After the completion of the three group-stage matches, the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will be a single-elimination format with one match.
The first Brazilian team drawn was Palmeiras, which was placed in Group A, alongside Porto from Portugal, Al-Ahly from Egypt, and Inter Miami from the United States. The second team drawn was Flamengo. In Group D, the Flamengo squad will face Espérance de Tunis from Tunisia, Chelsea from England, and León from Mexico.
