Inter defeats Cuiabá at Beira-Rio and dreams big in the Brazilian Championship

Colorado secures third consecutive win and moves closer to the G-6.

Inter defeats Cuiabá at Beira-Rio and dreams big in the Brazilian Championship.

On Monday, Internacional defeated Cuiabá 3-0 in a match valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship. The goals were scored by Alan Patrick (penalty), Mercado, and Borré. With this result, Colorado reaches 38 points, just four points shy of the Libertadores qualification zone with two games in hand. See the top football results at football match live score.

The outcome was a true reflection of the match. Commanding play from start to finish, the gaúcho team did not allow Cuiabá to find their rhythm, and the goal scored just 11 minutes into the first half forced the visitors to push forward in an attempt to reverse the score.

This marks the third consecutive victory for Roger Machado’s team, which, after a turbulent start, is beginning to emerge as a contender for the higher positions in the competition. Cuiabá, on the other hand, remains second to last with only 22 points, five points away from escaping the relegation zone.

Both teams, now out of international competitions, will return to action next weekend for the 27th round of the Brasileirão. The gaúchos will visit São Paulo at Morumbi, while Bernardo Franco’s team will return to Arena Pantanal to host Cruzeiro. Stay ahead with BB Score.
