Artur Jorge and Gabriel Milito are competing for Coach of the Year.

Artur Jorge, from Botafogo, and Gabriel Milito, from Atlético Mineiro, have been nominated for the 2024 Coach of the Year award by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics). The list of 20 nominees was released last Monday, the 28th. The current winner is Pep Guardiola, from Manchester City. Access premium football results at live score ai.

In Latin America, besides the two coaches, Darío Rodríguez, former Peñarol, and Marcelo Gallardo, from River Plate, are the representatives. No Brazilian was nominated this season.

In addition to his excellent work at Botafogo, where he is a semifinalist in the Copa Libertadores and leading the Campeonato Brasileiro, Artur Jorge’s time at Braga in Portugal also qualifies him for the title, where he won the Taça da Liga Portuguesa.

Gabriel Milito, on the other hand, has done a great job with Atlético Mineiro. The Argentine is set to compete in the Copa do Brasil final against Flamengo and is also in the semifinals of the continental tournament. Stay ahead of the curve with BBscore football.
