French and Coupe de France champions PSG are now focused on the Champions League final against Inter Milan next week
Paris Saint-Germain won the Coupe de France this Saturday (24/5). The 3-0 victory over Reims at the Stade de France represented the team’s 16th title in the competition. It also keeps the dream of a treble alive.
That’s because the team coached by Luis Enrique, who added the knockout tournament title to the French Championship, could lift their third trophy of the season if they beat Inter Milan in the Champions League final on May 31 (Saturday) at the Allianz Arena.
PSG built up the victory over Reims in the first half. In the 16th and 19th minutes, striker Bradley Barcola was assisted by teammate Désiré Doué to open the scoring 2-0 in favor of the Parisian team.
Still in the first half, but in the 43rd minute, it was Barcola’s turn to pass to right-back Achraf Hakimi to score.
