Luan recalled moments of chatting and playing poker with Ronaldinho; champion with Atlético is currently without a club
A multi-champion with Atlético, striker Luan Madson revealed that he recently received an offer to work with Ronaldinho, but ultimately decided against it. He also recalled the “chats” with the Galo’s number 10 during the year they won the Copa Libertadores in 2013.
In an interview with Galo TV’s GaloCast, Luan relived the magical moments in the black and white jersey. From moments on the field to behind the scenes, he spoke about the friendship he still maintains with some former teammates.
Among them, one of the greats who played for Galo in the 2013 season, Ronaldinho Gaúcho. Luan said he received an invitation to work with the global idol, but the project never came to fruition.
“I follow Assis (Ronaldinho’s brother), he watches my stories and I watch his. At the time, during the Legends Game, Assis called me and said Ronaldinho was interested in taking me to events with him. But I ended up forgetting, I didn’t share my WhatsApp number, I spoke to his wife, and she wouldn’t let me travel or be away from home either (laughs). But it would be amazing, you can see he remembers, he knows I’m pure, it’s from the heart. He was an extraordinary guy.”
