Cruzeiro became a post on a foreign page, which was surprised by the team’s results against Flamengo, Palmeiras and Botafogo
A foreign page with 4.6 million followers asked on Twitter this Friday (20/6) what Cruzeiro’s team is like. The post, which mentions the team’s victories over Palmeiras, Botafogo e Flamengo, went viral after these teams’ good start in the Club World Cup.
Raposa’s striker, Yannick Bolasie, used his account on the platform to react to the publication in English. “Team spirit, good vibes and hard work… game by game! Same values”, wrote the Congolese player in his response to the TrollFootball page, which talks about European football.
The text was accompanied by a photo in which Bolasie celebrates Cruzeiro’s second goal with Gabigol in the 2-1 victory over Flamengo on May 4th, at Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte, in the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship.
The image published by TrollFootball shows three Cruzeiro results: the aforementioned victory over Flamengo; the 2-1 victory over Palmeiras, on June 1, in the 11th round of this Série A; and the 3-0 rout against Botafogo, on July 27, 2024, in the 20th round of the last Brasileirão.
