Tickets for the next World Cup will be sold in stages, the first of which will take place in September.
Following the Club World Cup, FIFA is focusing its full attention on organizing the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be played in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This Tuesday (July 15th), the organization released information about ticket sales for the tournament.
To try to control sales, FIFA will make tickets available in phases. First, you must register on the official website and create a “FIFA ID” to access purchases. The first chance to purchase tickets will be on Wednesday, September 10th. There will be several more sales phases after that date, with possible differences in the purchasing process, payment methods, and ticket availability.
FIFA has not yet released details of the next stages, but promises to do so in the coming months. “Hospitality packages” are already available for sale, which include, in addition to match tickets, exclusive experiences such as premium seating, reception services, gastronomy, and more.
In the statement, FIFA also informs that tickets do not guarantee access to the host countries, and fans need to inform themselves about the processes for visiting each of them.
