The Globe Soccer Awards ceremony will take place on December 27th in Dubai.
The Globe Soccer Awards announced on Thursday, the 14th, the nominees for the Best Team of the Year award. Among the ten finalists are Brazilian clubs Atlético Mineiro and Botafogo, both finalists in the Copa Libertadores, as well as eight other teams including Real Madrid, the Champions League winner; Atalanta, the Europa League champion; and Olympiacos, the Conference League winner. Voting has already started on the organization’s website, and the Brazilian teams are the only representatives from South America. In addition to them, the contenders include Real Madrid (Spain), Atalanta (Italy), Olympiacos (Greece), Al Ahly (Egypt), Al-Ain (United Arab Emirates), Bayer Leverkusen (Germany), Inter Milan (Italy), Manchester City (England), PSG (France), and Sporting (Portugal).
The winner of the award will be announced on December 27th in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Brazil and Italy are the countries with the most representatives, with two teams each. In addition to the club awards, the Globe Soccer Awards will also honor the best male player, the best female player, the best coach, the biggest emerging talent, and the best player from the Middle East.
In the individual categories, Vini Jr. and Rodrygo are competing for the Best Player of the Year award, and Savinho, from Manchester City, is in the running for the Best Emerging Talent award.
