In early December, Náutico’s board signed an agreement that envisions the sale of 90% of the club’s shares to a consortium of investors. Of all the Serie C SAFs for 2025, the oldest is Maringá, which adopted the model in 2022 and has been reaping the benefits since then.
In addition to securing promotion to the third division, the team earned over R$5 million in prizes in the last two editions of the Copa do Brasil. Another club from Paraná that also became a club-company is Londrina, which now belongs to a group led by Guilherme Belintani, the former president of Bahia, who has already signaled an investment of over R$100 million in the club over the next six years.
