The Merengue club shared the list of players who will represent the Spanish team in the international competition
One of the big favorites to win the Club World Cup, Real Madrid released this Wednesday (11/6) the players listed for the competition in the United States. Among the new players on the list is Endrick, who until then was expected to be out of the World Cup, and reinforcements Trent Alexander-Arnold e Dean Huijsen.
Endrick was injured in the final stretch of the Spanish Championship, when he suffered a right thigh tendon injury. Initially, according to the Spanish media, the Brazilian would be out of action for two months and, therefore, would be missing from Real Madrid’s Club World Cup. However, the Merengue team included the forward in the list of players listed.
In addition, new faces such as full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and defender Dean Huijsen are also on the list. Vinicius Júnior, Mbappé, Bellingham and Rodrygo were all included in the regular squad for the competition.
Farewells
The Club World Cup will also mark the farewell of two of Real Madrid’s great idols in recent years: Croatian Luka Modric, six-time Champions League winner, and Spaniard Lucas Vázquez.
Real Madrid is in Group H of the Club World Cup, with Al-Hilal, Pachuca-MEX and RB Salzburg-AUS. Los Merengues will make their debut on Wednesday the 18th against Al-Hilal, at 6pm (Brasília time).
