Gymnastics are in Madrid, the capital of Spain, to participate in the 25th edition of the Laureus Awards, the Oscar of sports.
Legends of sports gathered at the Santiago Bernabéu this Sunday (4/20) to watch Real Madrid‘s 1-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao. Among the stars present at the duel for the 32nd round of the Spanish Championship were gymnasts Rebeca Andrade and Simone Biles.
Rivals in the dispute for Olympic medals, as happened in Paris 2024, they posed for a photo in the stands of the Bernabéu. The image was shared by both on Instagram. But they were not the only stars who attended Real Madrid’s match. Kelly Slater (surfing), Novak Djokovic (tennis) and Mondo Duplantis (pole vault) were also at the Bernabéu.
Together, they took a photo with Florentino Peréz, president of the Spanish club. The athletes are in Madrid to participate in the 25th edition of the Laureus Awards, known as the Oscars of sport. The event takes place this Monday (21) and has Rebeca Andrade as a nominee in the Comeback of the Year category.
