
Player for the Brazilian National Team and Real Madrid, 28-year-old right-back Yasmin trained at Pouso Alegre’s facilities
Brazilian right-back Yasmin, from Real Madrid, trained at Pouso Alegre’s training center (CT), in Série D of the Campeonato Brasileiro 2024. Born in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, the 28-year-old player lived in the city during and started playing soccer when she still lived in the municipality. This weekend, she used the club’s facilities before joining the Brazilian National Team to compete in the 2025 Women’s Copa América, which starts in July. In a post on social media, Pouso Alegre explained that the athlete worked with professionals and in city facilities for training.
“Congratulations to all the staff involved and thank you for your trust, Yasmin! The doors of Pouso Alegre and our city will always be open to you!”, it wrote.
The Brazilian National Team and Real Madrid player responded to the post and thanked the club for its support. “Thank you very much for the space and the support! Success and long life to our Pousão! Let’s go!”, she thanked.
Yasmin began her career at São José. She later played for Corinthians and Benfica. After her time in Portuguese football, the athlete returned to the black and white team from São Paulo and stayed with the team for another five years. The full-back transferred to Real Madrid this season. She has played 15 matches for the Merengue shirt and provided one assist.
