The Brazilian National Team star’s contract with Santos is valid until June 30
Atacante Neymar has caught the interest of Pachuca, from Mexico, who are considering signing the Brazilian star for the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place from June 14 to July 13 in the United States. The information was released by the newspaper Marca, which reported that the Mexican club believes that this could be a great sporting and commercial move.
Pachuca would be interested in signing a short-term contract, just for the World Cup. According to the Mexican newspaper Juan Futbol, Neymar would have asked for 5 million dollars (R$ 28.3 million) to accept the challenge. Negotiations are still in their early stages, but the Mexicans seem confident that an agreement will be reached.
Neymar’s contract with Santos is valid until June 30. The forward said that he does not know if he will remain at Peixe. “I won’t answer any more about that. I’ve already said that I don’t know yet, that I’m thinking about it. There’s no point in you asking me again in three days, because the answer will be the same. I’ll only decide that after the 12th,” he said.
Expelled in the game against Botafogo last Sunday (1/6), Neymar will only wear the Santos jersey again if he renews his contract.
