
Real Madrid’s number 16 suffered a right hamstring injury and may miss Carlo Ancelotti’s first call-up as Brazil coach
Real Madrid reported this Wednesday (21/5) that Endrick suffered a right hamstring injury. The forward is expected to be out for the FIFA World Cup in June and also for the Super World Cup. Endrick underwent tests this Wednesday (21/5) and the injury was confirmed. The player was injured at the beginning of the second half of the match against Sevilla, in the Guia Rápido do Campeonato Espanhol.
The forward is expected to be out of action for two months, according to the Spanish newspapers Marca and As. Real Madrid did not disclose a recovery timetable. Therefore, he will be out for Carlo Ancelotti’s farewell match, this Saturday (24/5), at 11:15 am (Brasília time), against Real Sociedad.
The number 16 is expected to miss the Super World Cup, which starts on June 14, as well as a potential call-up to the Brazilian national team.
Ancelotti will release the list for the games against Ecuador and Paraguay next Monday (26/5). Meanwhile, Real Madrid will have another absence in attack: the Merengue team will be without Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, who are injured.
