The Saudi Arabian team’s number 7 has a contract until the middle of the year and has been linked with different teams in recent months

Al-Nassr is working to renew the contract of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, and has offered the player a “contract of the century”. The number 7 joined the club in the 2022/2023 season, after leaving Manchester United.

The Portuguese footballer’s contract ends on June 1st. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Al-Nassr made an “astronomical” offer to the footballer. According to the report, Cristiano would receive 15.2 million euros per month (around R$96.8 million at the current exchange rate).

According to Forbes magazine, the player is the highest-paid athlete in the world in 2025, with an income of 275 million dollars (salary and sponsorships). In addition to the millionaire amount, the striker would become one of the owners of the club and would have 5% of Al-Nassr’s shares.

In recent months, different media outlets have indicated that the Portuguese player has been approached by teams in the Super Club World Cup to compete in the competition, which starts in mid-June.

The main player in Saudi football, Cristiano Ronaldo has played 110 games for Al-Nassr, scored 98 goals and provided 20 assists. A multiple champion in his career, the Portuguese star has not yet managed to lift many trophies with the club. The only title won by the player with the team was the Arab Champions Cup in 2023/2024.
