He provided all the assistance, and I&#8217;m very grateful to him,&#8221; said the 35-year-old center forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former <strong>Cruzeiro<\/strong> center forward <strong>Walter<\/strong> made a moving statement about his friendship with <strong>Hulk<\/strong>, now at <strong>Atl\u00e9tico<\/strong>. In an interview with the Den\u00edlson Show YouTube channel, he revealed that the Galo forward was instrumental in one of the most difficult moments in his personal life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story took place in Portugal, when Walter and Hulk were teammates at Porto. &#8220;My daughter was born prematurely in Portugal. We went on a trip with the reserve team, and Hulk didn&#8217;t go, he stayed,&#8221; he began. The moment was tense, with Walter away from his family. &#8220;My ex-wife went to have my daughter, and he was the one who took my ex-wife to the hospital. He provided all the assistance, I&#8217;m very grateful to him, because if it weren&#8217;t for him\u2014and, of course, first and foremost, God\u2014my daughter wouldn&#8217;t be alive today,&#8221; the former Cruzeiro player said emotionally, referring to his daughter Catarina Vit\u00f3ria.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the distance imposed by football, Walter&#8217;s gratitude remains undiminished. \u201cI have a very close friendship with Hulk, of course, after that we each go our separate ways, we lose touch a little, but when we see each other the friendship is very strong, he is a very family-like guy,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walter played alongside Hulk at Porto between 2010 and 2011. He then played for Cruzeiro in 2012, where he played 11 games and scored three goals.
