The stadium&#8217;s remodeling project will be assessed by the club&#8217;s board of directors in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAfter this approval, we will work on obtaining the necessary construction permits and the competent agencies to build Arena Barrad\u00e3o,\u201d said the club&#8217;s president, F\u00e1bio Mota, in an interview with Correio. Vit\u00f3ria plans to begin construction in January 2026. The stadium&#8217;s modernization will last 18 months. During this period, Le\u00e3o does not intend to leave the stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stadium, which currently has a capacity for 30,000 fans, will have an expansion of 20,000 seats, increasing to 50,000. Vit\u00f3ria did not disclose the amount of financial resources that will be invested in the project. The expansion of the Manoel Barradas Stadium is a long-standing project for the Lion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2016, directors of the Bahian club met with local politicians to start the licensing process, but the work never came to fruition. At that time, the expansion of the stadium was estimated to cost R$270 million.
