Keylor Navas, a three-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid and former Paris Saint-Germain standout, is close to signing with Newell\u2019s Old Boys in Argentina. Linked to several South American teams, including Gr\u00eamio (Brazil), San Lorenzo (Argentina), and Cerro Porte\u00f1o (Paraguay), Navas recently moved closer to Newell\u2019s Old Boys. The club’s management considers the deal nearly finalized, with head coach Mariano Soso already preparing for his arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We\u2019ve reached a sporting agreement with the player. Keylor is someone who could elevate the position. I\u2019ve spoken with him and shared the style of play we\u2019re aiming for to win him over. I\u2019m not yet sure when Keylor\u2019s travel arrangements will be finalized or if he\u2019ll be available for Thursday\u2019s match against Independiente Rivadavia,\u201d Soso said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navas spent five seasons at Real Madrid, winning the Champions League three times and the Club World Cup four times. He then moved to PSG, where he played for four years and had a loan stint at Nottingham Forest in England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
