The English teams have dominated the Champions League so far. After the conclusion of the third round, the lead in the world’s premier club tournament is shared between Liverpool and Aston Villa, both with nine points\u2014Aston Villa leads on goal difference. To establish their dominance thus far, the leaders have defeated Young Boys 3-0 away in their opener, then won 1-0 against Bayern Munich at home, and this round saw them beat Bologna 2-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The runners-up have the same number of goals, but unlike Aston Villa, they have conceded one: 3-1 against Milan away, 2-0 against Bologna at Anfield, and 1-0 against RB Leipzig in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
