Mohamed Salah renewed his contract with Liverpool for three more seasons and will receive more than R$2 million per week.

The contract renewal with Liverpool guaranteed Mohamed Salah the second highest salary in the Premier League from the 2025/2026 season. According to the English newspaper The Sun, this Friday (11/4), the Egyptian striker will receive 400 thousand euros per week (around R$2.6 million).

Salah extended his contract with Liverpool for three seasons. The ‘Egyptian King’s’ link with the Reds was due to end in June of this year. At the end of the new contract, in June 2027, Salah will have received 62.4 million euros (around R$417.5 million) – that is, 20.8 million euros per year (R$139.17 million).

According to The Sun, Salah’s new salary is only below Erling Haaland’s salary at Manchester City. The Norwegian striker earns 500,000 euros per week (R$ 3.3 million) at the City.

Kevin de Bruyne also earns 400,000 euros per week. However, the Belgian midfielder is leaving Manchester City and is unlikely to play in the Premier League next season.
