The President of the United States attended the World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG and said he saw the Brazilian play.
US President Donald Trump named Pelé the greatest player of all time. In an interview with DAZN during the Club World Cup final, the president stated that he went to the stadium to watch the Brazilian play.
“When I was young, they brought a player named Pelé to play… This place was packed. It was an earlier version of this stadium, but right here in the Meadowlands. That was a long time ago. I came to watch Pelé, and he was fantastic,” he said.
Pelé ended his career with the New York Cosmos in the United States. The Brazilian played for the team between 1975 and 1977, when Trump went to watch him play.
