The referee of the match between Palmeiras 和 Flamengo, Ramon Abatte Abel, denies that a Palmeiras director invaded the locker room after the game. The accusation of invasion had been made by José Boto, Flamengo’s football director. Ramon Abatte Abel denied the invasion. “There was nothing like that”, the referee of the match told UOL while still at Allianz Parque.
The match report also does not record the alleged invasion of the referee’s locker room. There are no complaints from referees and the fields “Occurrences”, “Observations” and “Assistant’s Report”, where complaints like this should be registered, were filled with “Nothing unusual” or “Nothing to report”.
José Boto, from Flamengo, had said that “one of their directors invaded the referee’s booth”. Anderson Barros, from Palmeiras, was outraged by the statement and called Boto a liar. “If Boto said that, he’s a liar. And I’m going to say it directly to him. Liar!”, Barros told UOL.
