Napoli beat Milan 2-1 this Sunday at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples in the 30th round of the Italian Championship. The goals for the team from Southern Italy were scored by Matteo Politano and Romelu Lukaku.
Jovic scored for the Rossoneri. With the result, Napoli reached 64 points and continues to chase leader Inter Milan, who is just ahead with 67 goals. With eight rounds remaining in the Italian Championship, the fight for the title is wide open.
Napoli needed just one minute to open the scoring against Milan. Di Lorenzo received the ball on the right and made a beautiful pass to Politano, who received it behind the marker and, from the edge of the area, unleashed a bomb, leaving goalkeeper Maignan with no chance.
In the 19th minute, Napoli extended their lead in the match. Napoli will not return to the field until April 7, Monday, when they visit Bologna, at 3:45 pm (Brasília time), for the Italian Championship. Milan, in turn, will face the derby against Inter Milan next Wednesday, at 4 pm, for the first leg of the Italian Cup semifinal.
