Manchester City and Juventus have six points and will face each other in the last round of Group G of the Club World Cup
Manchester City thrashed Al Ain 6-0 this Sunday (23/6) in the second round of Group G of the Club World Cup, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (USA). The goals in the triumph were scored by Gundogan (twice), Echeverri, Haaland, Bobb and Cherki.
With the result, City remains in second place in Group G, with six points, and secured a spot in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup. Juventus, the group leader, also secured their place in the knockout stages after thrashing Wydad Casablanca 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Al Ain, in turn, is in last place and has already been eliminated from the competition, with two defeats in two games. The two teams return to the field next Thursday (25) for the third and final round of the group stage.
Manchester City takes on Juventus at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Al Ain will face Wydad Casablanca at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. Both games will take place at 4:00 p.m. (Brasília time).

Manchester City opened the scoring after just seven minutes of play. After a corner kick from the right, Gundogan collected a rebound in the area, dribbled past his opponent and crossed the ball past goalkeeper Khalid Eisa.
In the 26th minute, Echeverri took a free kick with great skill and extended the lead for the English team. In the first half’s injury time, Akanji was pulled down in the area and the referee awarded a penalty. The goal scorer Haaland made no mistake and put the ball in the net.
The victory turned into a rout in the 27th minute of the second half. Gundogan received a pass from Bernardo Silva, controlled the ball and chipped it past the goalkeeper. In the 38th minute, Rodri passed to Oscar Bobb, who crossed the ball and doubled Manchester City’s lead. Cherki closed the scoring in the 43rd minute. After putting pressure on Al Ain’s ball out, Haaland simply laid it off for the midfielder, who shot into the right corner.
