Barcelona’s number 19 has established himself as one of the world’s top players this season and is valued at over R$2 billion
With a renewed contract with Barcelona until June 2031, Lamine Yamal has become the most valuable player in the world. The Spanish winger, who is only 18 years old, was valued at approximately R$2.5 billion, according to the list compiled by the Football Observatory (CIES). Despite being still young, Yamal was one of Barcelona’s standout players this season and is one of the contenders to win the Ballon d’Or. In total, he scored 18 goals and provided 21 assists in 55 games.
He won the Spanish Championship, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. The Spaniard is almost R$1 billion more valuable than Norwegian Erling Haaland, who is second on the CIES list. The 24-year-old Manchester City center forward is valued at R$1.5 billion. Jude Bellingham (R$1.5 billion) from Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé (R$1.24 billion) from Real Madrid, Jamal Musiala (R$997 million) from Bayern Munich, Pedri (R$926 million) from Barcelona, Vinícius Júnior (R$840 million) from Real Madrid, Cole Palmer (R$815 million) from Chelsea, Julián Álvarez (R$812 million) from Atlético de Madrid and Florian Wirtz (R$788 million) from Bayer Leverkusen complete the top 10.
Among the Brazilians, behind Vinícius Júnior, are Rodrygo (R$776 million), also from Real Madrid, in 11th place, Savinho (R$649 million), from Manchester City, in 22nd place, Gabriel Martinelli (R$560 million), from Arsenal, in 41st place, Raphinha (R$532 million), from Barcelona, in 48th place, and Estêvão (R$531 million), from Palmeiras, in 49th place, within the top 50 most valuable players in the world. Among the 100 best-valued players, Endrick (R$522 million), from Real Madrid, in 51st place, João Pedro (R$442 million), from Brighton, in 73rd place, Lucas Beraldo (R$419 million), from PSG, in 81st place, Murillo (R$411 million), from Nottingham Forest, in 83rd place, and Evanilson (R$394 million), from Bournemouth, in 90th place, complete the list.
Finally, only four players in the top 100 play outside the five main leagues. Estêvão is the most valuable and appears in 49th place. Next come Samuel Aghehowa (R$460 million), from Porto, in 65th place, and Viktor Gyokeres (R$465 million), from Sporting, in 67th place. Colombian Jhon Durán (R$373 million), from Al-Nassr, closes the list in 100th position.
