He joined the club in August 2015, when he was bought by City, who paid around R$286 million to Wolfsburg, from Germany.
Since then, he has played in 413 games, contributing 106 goals. With the English team, he won a Champions League (2022/23), six Premier League titles (2017/18, 2018/19, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24), two FA Cups (2018/19 and 2022/23), five English League Cups (2015/16, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21) and two English Community Shields (2019 and 2024).
