With this result, Bayern Munich has its first three points in the competition and takes the lead in group C. On the other hand, Auckland City is in last place in the group. Boca Juniors-ARG and Benfica-POR complete the group and will face each other this Monday at 7 pm (Brasília time). The two teams return to the field this Friday for the second round of the Club World Cup group stage. Bayern Munich will face Boca Juniors at 10:00 p.m. at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Auckland City will face Benfica at 1:00 p.m. at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando. Bayern Munich ran riot and scored six goals in the first half. Just six minutes in, after a corner kick by Joshua Kimmich, Jonathan Tah passed the ball into the box and Kingsley Coman headed it in to open the scoring.

In the 18th minute, Coman received the ball inside the box and laid it off for Sacha Boey, who controlled it and crossed it to score Bayern Munich’s second. Soon after, in a play on the left side, Muller turned on his marker and crossed. The ball went past Harry Kane, but Michael Olise appeared free to score the third in the 19th minute.

A minute later, Bayern Munich recovered the ball in the attacking half and Olise made a good pass to Coman. The Frenchman beat the defender, shot into the corner and extended the lead. At 44 minutes, Olise received the ball on the right wing and crossed perfectly for Thomas Muller to score. In injury time, Olise received the ball from Boey, cut to his left foot and shot from outside the area to score a great goal, his second of the match and Bayern Munich’s sixth.

In the second half, Serge Gnabry passed to Thomas Muller, who set up Jamal Musiala. From outside the area, the German midfielder shot with precision and scored a great goal in the 22nd minute. The referee then awarded a penalty to Michael Den Heijer on Musiala. He himself was responsible for the penalty and scored his second in the 27th minute. In the 37th minute, goalkeeper Conor Tracey made a mistake and gave the ball to Musiala.

The German only had to tap it into the back of the net and complete his hat-trick. Finally, in a play on the right wing, Adam Aznou crossed, but the goalkeeper cleared it. Gnabry got the rebound and crossed for Muller to score his second and Bayern Munich’s tenth goal in the 43rd minute.
