Juventus' group in the World Cup: where to watch, schedule, dates and times of the games

Juventus was one of the teams to secure a spot through the UEFA club rankings; the Italian team is in Manchester City’s group

意大利‘s greatest champion, Juventus is one of the country’s representatives in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, held in the United States. The Old Lady is in Group G, alongside Manchester City (England), Al-Ain (United Arab Emirates) and Wydad Casablanca (Morocco).

No Ataque brings you everything about the team in the competition: squad, dates, times, where to watch the games and more information. “There is excitement because it is the first time, and Juventus always has the ambition to win. We want to do it with humility, we know that the best teams in the world are here. But we didn’t come to participate, that’s clear.

The trip was what it was, now we have to adapt to the weather, the time zone, because the game is on Wednesday (18/4)”, said coach Igor Tudor, in an interview with DAZN. The Croatian, who replaced Thiago Motta in charge of the Italian team in March, had his contract renewed last week.

The coach’s contract is now valid until June 2027. Under Tudor, Juve finished the Italian Championship in fourth place, with 70 points. The last time the team won the tournament was in the 2019/20 season – the title in question was the Bianconeri’s eighth consecutive.

In the Champions League, the campaign was disappointing. Two-time champions Juventus finished the league stage in 20th place, with 12 points – one more than Dinamo Zabreg, the first team outside the qualifying zone. In the playoffs, they were eliminated by PSV and did not even make it to the round of 16.

Juventus qualified for the Club World Cup thanks to the UEFA rankings, in which they appear in 14th place. The criteria were the same as those that guaranteed the places of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Porto, Atlético de Madrid, Benfica and RB Salzburg. The other European teams that qualified were the Champions League winners between 2020/21 and 2023/24: Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid – who won the title twice in that period.

Juventus will likely compete with Manchester City for the leadership of Group G of the Club World Cup. Al-Ain and Wydad Casablanca are likely to be outsiders in the fight for places in the round of 16.
