The Italian coach avoided talking about Brazil’s starting lineup to face Ecuador and highlighted Chelsea’s attacking midfielder
Before the match against Ecuador, Carlo Ancelotti, who will make his debut for the team, praised young Estêvão this Wednesday (4/6), in addition to having hidden the lineup for the match.
“I knew Estêvão. I hadn’t seen him in person, only on video and on TV, but I see what everyone sees, that he is a player with extraordinary talent, special, very young and who still has things to learn. Everyone knows his character and personality, he seems to me to be a humble boy, very good, with will and personality”, he stated.
Regarding the captain, Ancelotti stated that he will reveal the lineup tomorrow, together with the players. “I will talk to the team about the captain tomorrow, I don’t think we will have any problems, I will choose, but first I will talk to the players”, he explained.
“I prefer to discuss the lineup with the players before the match, the players will see the lineup tomorrow,” he concluded. The match against Ecuador, valid for the 15th round of the South American Qualifiers, takes place this Thursday, at 8 pm (Brasília time), at the Monumental Isidro Romero Carbo Stadium, in Guayaquil.
