Of everyone who came here, the only one who bet on Cruzeiro was Ronaldo,&#8221; Galv\u00e3o declared this Monday during the presentation of the Band program. During the program, Galv\u00e3o aired the segment in which Ronaldo listed four favorites for the Brasileir\u00e3o title: Flamengo, Palmeiras, Corinthians, and Cruzeiro. &#8220;I truly believe that these four have what it takes to go far,&#8221; he opined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cruzeiro Leads the Brasileir\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cruzeiro leads the Brasileir\u00e3o with 33 points. Leonardo Jardim&#8217;s team has a one-game, three-point lead over second-place Flamengo. In the next round, the 16th of the Brasileir\u00e3o, Cruzeiro faces Corinthians, 10th place with 19 points. The match will be this Wednesday (July 23rd) at 7:30 pm at Neo Qu\u00edmica Arena in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ronaldo at Cruzeiro<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ronaldo played for Cruzeiro between the second half of 1993 and the first half of 1994. In his short time at the club, the number 9 scored 56 goals in 58 games, 55 of them as a starter. With Cruzeiro, Ronaldo won the 1993 Copa do Brasil and the 1994 Campeonato Mineiro.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was the top scorer in the Supercopa dos Campe\u00f5es da Libertadores (1993) and the Campeonato Mineiro (1994). After winning his fourth World Cup with the Brazilian national team in 1994, Ronaldo was sold by Cruzeiro to PSV in the Netherlands.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his career, Ronaldo also played for Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Milan, and Corinthians. As a former player, Ronaldo returned to Cruzeiro. Between December 2022 and April 2024, Ronaldo was the owner of the club&#8217;s Sociedade An\u00f4nima do Futebol (SAF).
