The 33-year-old midfielder has not been called up to defend the Yellow Team since October 2023, when Brazil&#8217;s coach was Fernando Diniz, currently at Vasco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former Brazilian captain Casemiro highly praised Ancelotti, with whom he worked for a year at Real Madrid. When you have a coach of that greatness and he goes to the Brazilian national team, of course you want to, of course you want to return to Brazil,\u201d said Casemiro, in an interview with ESPN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casemiro then revealed that he has already contacted Ancelotti and his son, who works as the Italian coach\u2019s assistant. \u201cSo, I\u2019ve already had contact with him (Ancelotti), yes. But before that I\u2019ve also been in contact with his son (assistant Davide Ancelotti), with whom I had a lot of affection. So, without a doubt, he\u2019ll be very good for the national team, regardless of whether he wins or not,\u201d added Casemiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casemiro has recovered from a bad 2024 and is an important player for coach R\u00faben Amorim at Manchester United.
