This time, the Third Criminal Court of San Isidro, in Buenos Aires, pointed to possible <strong>sexual involvement<\/strong> between the former player and his <strong>psychologist<\/strong>. The Court made public some messages between the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agustina Cosachov was a member of the medical team that accompanied the former player, who died in November 2020. In the excerpt revealed in the investigation, the psychologist allegedly insinuated that she had had a sexual relationship with Maradona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time, she implied the information in a conversation with Carlos D\u00edaz, another professional in the group of mental health care professionals for the Argentine idol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou had sex with the fat guy, you shameless person,\u201d wrote Carlos D\u00edaz. In response, Agustina said: \u201cWell, therapy is therapy. Everyone has their own technique.\u201d The lawsuit investigates the doctors\u2019 conduct in the period leading up to Maradona\u2019s death. The psychologist\u2019s defense said that the message was taken out of context and denied any possible personal relationship between the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trial is expected to take place by July of this year. In addition to Agustina Cosachov and Carlos D\u00edaz, other defendants include names such as doctor Leopoldo Luque. If convicted, the sentences could reach 25 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On social media, Agustina spoke out and denied the accusations: \u201cWhat was said about an alleged intimate relationship with my patient is completely false and deeply unfair. I have never had and will never have any kind of relationship with a patient. This does not apply only to Mr. Maradona, but to each of my patients, whom I deeply respect.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis misinformation has generated rumors that, unfortunately, are resurfacing and distorting today. I find what is being disseminated deeply offensive and degrading. I ask for respect. Not only for myself, but also for my former patient: Mr. Diego A. Maradona and his memory. May justice be served. No lies. No manipulation.
